                      Who is Captain Barry?

"2008" marks the eighth year of guiding fisherman to Trophy Fish and fun times, but don't let that fool you.  I have over 22 years of serious fishing experience, having fished in numerous tournaments yearly.
Winning the MAKE-A WISH Lake Erie Challenge/Milliennium Bassmasters Tournament on May 19, 2001 & the Wagon Wheel Annual Smallmouth Tournament, June 15, 2002.
Finishing 2nd (missing out of 1st by .02 of a pound!) in the
US Anglers Choice Northeast Team Regional Championships with Joe Fonzi on October 14th & 15th, 2005, winning a 2006 Bass Cat Pantera Classic Boat with a 200 Mercury on it.
Placing 26th as an non-boater in the Citgo Bassmasters Northern Open on Sept. 9-11, 2003 and finishing 51st as a Pro in the Everstart Northern Open on Lake Erie on August 25-28th, 2004. I've had numerous Top 10 finishes in the local tournament trails as well.  Also working as a first mate on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario for several years.  I have learned what it takes to guarantee having a great experience.  Its more than just catching fish, but that helps!

Wet a line with Schultz Sportfishing,
You'll be Hooked !

I'm a proud member of: B.A.S.S. , FLW Outdoors , L.O.T.S.A. , Niagara River Anglers , Greatlakes.org , Ducks Unlimited , NRA ,  Wildlife Forever, North American Fishing Club, North American Hunting Club and on the Berkley, Humminbird, Pro-cure, Laketown Manufacturing & Okuma Pro-Staffs.

What should I bring?

A valid New York State fishing license and/or Ontario Fishing License (not mandatory), a Camera (I like to practice C-P-R; Catch, Photo & Release!), sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, appropriate clothing for predicted weather, seasickness medicine (if needed), a small cooler, food and drinks.  If you have a favorite rod and reel bring it along too, although I supply all needed tackle.
I highly recommend getting a Canadian Fishing License when fishing for King Salmon & Steelhead on the Niagara River to take advantage of all fish holding drifts. Some days the Canadian side is a lot better and you don't want to watch them pounding them and not be able to fish for them.

You can get Ontario Licenses by calling 1-800-667-1940  (usually takes 3-4 weeks!)
Or at: Canadian Tire at Montrose & Thorold Stone Roads Niagara Falls, Ontario
1-905-354-3848

You can get a N.Y. Fishing License at any Walmart  in NY or at:
Gander Mountain  880 Young St Tonawanda, N.Y. (716)-743-2300 (opens at 5:30am)
